I would first recommend you to check the temporary files folder on
your computer. These can use up a lot of RAM and are there just to
help your regularly accessed applications or files to open faster.
Windows Key + R to open the run dialog box in which you will type
%temp% and hit enter to open the folder. CNTRL key + A to select all
files, shift delete to remove all files from your temp folder. There
might be some files that will not be deleted since they are in current
use so ignore the prompt if you get one

Over the last few months I've noticed that when using Microsoft Outlook

on my Windows 7 desktop, if I type an e-mail message, I have to type an
awful lot slower to enable the cursor to catch up with me, otherwise I find
that lots of letters and spaces are missed out, meaning that I have to go
back and correct everything before I send it. Ironically, it's not
happening whilst typing this message, but it does happen more often than
not.
Does anyone have any ideas what I can do about this?
