I know very few people who would choose Orpheus TTS for anything, but the
fact that some people like it only emphasises how subjective the subject of
TTS engines is. it is almost impossible to say which is best.

I came across a reference in these and other lists that Orpheus TTS is = not
working with JAWS or no longer being available.
Well, version 3.03 of Orpheus is available and has a fix for a crash = that
occurred when used with screen readers or applications that use MS = Speech
API Version 5, like JAWS for example, which can use that = interface to
speech engines.
Orpheus 3.03 can be downloaded from: =
http://speech.meridian-one.co.uk/products.html
Select either Orpheus TTS or Orpheus TTS Plus, press/click its button =
which takes you to the download page with more information and download =
the 30-day trial version form there.
If you have are any more bug reports about Orpheus with screen readers =
please reply to this post or pass them to support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.
