Hi Lillian,
I think its down to the output format settings. I can't remember exactly
what the options are, but I think you need something like the output
settings to be plain or formatted text rather than flowing page or true
page.

have you tried microsofts document imaging for scanning and reading
documents on ms word because you might find it does the same as
omnipage.

Hi
Can anyone help me with Omni? I've set up direct OCR with the scanner
but
having scanned document into word, it doesn't want to read the text.
I'm
sighted but setting it up for a VI . I can see the text - it's
enclosed
in text boxes but JAWS won't read it unless i click into it using the
mouse.
Any suggestions?
