Keith,

In addition, if you want rid of it from all Office products, you can run the
Office set up and make sure that the Office Assistant is not allowed to be
installed at all.

Regards,

Jamie

Hi Keith,

I presume you are talking about "Word" so here we go.

To disable the office assistant for good, do the following

Press Alt H to open the help menu, and look for "Hide Office Assistant",
then press Enter. if you find "Show Office Assistant" instead then you have

already fixed it.

There is no need to delete any files.

Regards,

Michael.
