Hi I'm not sure but this, but typically withdrawing support doesn't mean the software will stop working, simply that the software will no longer be supported and will therefore not be upgraded/updated. This means the software should still work, but may be more prone in the future to viruses or problems with other software. That's why the others are still using this at present with no problems.
