Hi Tom, Office 2003's SaveAs function will usually suggest a default name, and it's also usually the first few words or first line of the document. If that's not what you want, simply type a name of your choice, but do NOT add the file extension as this will be done automatically. I have jaws 5.1. How well should this work? Got a couple of probs so far, one minor, one more of a nuissance. The minor one: When I first try to saveAs with a new word doc, I get the file name as June26. When I put in the name I want, the saveAs command works properly after that. It also works with old docs. Why this prompt? I also can't read the access help system properly. Word help seems to be fine. Any thoughts?
