If you have Verbosity set to Advanced, then it definitely is not going to
say anything. However, I have seen a very similar issue with Beginner
Verbosity, where I press Control+C or X, I don't hear the announcement, and
the data has not been copied or cut. So when I go to paste, it pastes the
previous content which was on the clipboard already. This is not regularly
reproducible, and it only happens once in a while, but it does occur.
