Hello to all on this list, I was wondering if someone could maybe help me out with something or tell me what I can do to fix the problem or what the reason for the problem is. I currently have Norton Anti-virus 2006 on my computer and JAWS 8.0001163 and even before I installed the latest update for JAWS I have been having some problems with Norton anti-virus as it relates to JAWS. It seems whenever norton for whatever scans a file or what it thinks could be a virus or a problem with something that JAWS just stops talking to me and some times even it seems like the computer gets jammed up. Then the only way in order to resolve the problem for me is to restart the computer with me pushing the windows button along with U and then R still without any voice in order for the computer to restart or if this does not work then I have to hold the power button for a few seconds until the computer shuts off and then I push the power button again to turn it back on. I am using a laptop computer with Windows XP Home on it so if anyone has a problem like this where the voice just go for some unknown reason while norton scans I would like to know what the reason is and if there can be anything done to fix it such as changing a setting in norton to make the problem to be resolved.
