These symbols are the hex representation of ascii symbols.  =20 means a 
space.  That said, I don't know how to get rid of them.  Only by teaching 
people to send in plain text, perhaps.  You could play around in the options 
section of the Tools menu, but I'm not promising anything.

Can someone tell me please, when an email is received with nonsense symbols
like; =20 when jaws is reading the message, how can you stop jaws reading
this? I have Jaws 4.5.1 with X P Home.
