Hi sue, sorry, after I sent my email last night I realised that I do also know the answer to the question you asked concerning how jaws reads the number of files et cetera. Jaws reads dialogue boxes which appear on the screen, on a disk clean up this is one of the dialogue boxes. On a disk clean up, Jaws should also tell you if any errors were found and whether window's fixed anything. All the best, Claire. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sue Morgan" <sue@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "Jaws" <jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, June 03, 2006 9:31 PM Subject: [jaws-uk] > Hi. > Apologies if this is off topic but can anyone please tell me the difference between a defrag and a disk clean up? I'm also wondering how JAWS reads the number of files that it finds during this operation. I use a Sony vio laptop with a C and D drive. > > Thanks for any info. > > Sue. > ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- > ** [mailto:jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] > ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: > ** jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > ** and in the Subject line type > ** unsubscribe > ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the > ** immediately-following link:- > ** [mailto:jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] > ** or send a message, to > ** jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq > ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
