This was only true of version 4.5 which there was a patch released for.

The sluggishness was caused by .dll files not being released by Jaws when an application was closed. Thus the resources got bogged down.

Hi Jim, 1 thing that I will mention, is that for some strange reason, jaws
runs quite slow on windows xp, so you might need to restart jaws after a
while.

I'm in the process of getting a new computer with the following stat's. Are
there any known conflicts for Jaws?

2.5 GHz

Primary Drive:
DVD+/-RW

Monitor:
TFT.

OS:
XP Home.

I will appreciate any help with this question. If there's anything you need
