If you can get past the NT/networking issues that George has advised of elsewhere, there are a few ways to create a new folder for - or in - Microsoft Word documents. One way to do it (it's a different jkeyboard shortcut for different versions) is to: 1. Have a new Word document open. 2. Hit ctrl+o for Open File... 3. Hit alt-5. (That's 5 on the main keyboard.) (For Microsoft Word 97, hit Alt-3.) This keystroke opens a New Folder Dialogue, whence you can name the new folder, etc. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Val" <val17@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "'Jaws-Uk@Freelists. I have Windows NT and Office 2000. I press Alt F and New and then Folder, but I get stuck after that. How do I get the folder from Windows NT to MS Word, give it a name, etc. In other words, can someone spell it out in words of one syllable please?
