Hi Barbara Although I'm using Windows Vista and MS Office 2007 with Jaws 12 or Jaws 13 I get identical message to the one you have described. I bypass the message by closing Word with: LeftAlt&SpaceBar. I reply No to the question about the normal template by pressing tab once followed by Enter. All the best, Carlos. -----Original Message----- From: jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Barbara Wilson Sent: 17 May 2012 09:02 To: JAWS-UK Subject: [jaws-uk] Microsoft Word Problem Using Word 2010 and Windows 7. Every time I close Word I get a message saying the file is in use by another program, and I select okay. Then it says changes have been made to the normal template and asks if I want to change them. This happens even after I have saved my document, or if I have opened a document but made no changes to it. Is there any way I can get rid of this message? Thanks.
