I don't  know what's going wrong here Michael.  Once you have pressed return 
to go into the message and then tabbed down to get into the edit area,  you 
should be able to add to the message and then use the Alt s command to send 
the message.  Two things I would try, first checking that the window is 
maximised and if this didn't work, closing and then re-opening Outlook and 
trying to access the message again.  I would also take jaws out with the ins 
f4 command and I've a hot key to put jaws back in again to see if this gets 
things to function properly again.
