Terry,

If you haven't managed to delete the file in your Outbox
maybe the following might work.

1 Go into the Outbox and open the file.
2 Tab to the attachment and press delete on that.
3 Close the file and delete it.

HTH and Seasons Greetings.

stuck in outlook's outbox: What to do?

Hi there,

I realise it is the size of the attachment that is the
problem. I
know it is far too big to send. My problem is, having
originally
made the mistake of trying to send an inordinately large
attachment,
I am now faced with the problem that I cannot get rid of it
from my
out box. What to do! As it happens, I have managed to
convey the
files to the person to whom the original E-mail was intended
another
way (on disk). How do I get this E-mail and attachment
dislodged
from my out box thus ending the circle of the program
wanting to send
what is an impossibly large posting.

Many thanks,

Terry
