Hi again Mark, in addition to the help files, if you have Jaws10 installed go to Jaws menu/Help/Check for updates. On the list of updates there're 3 or 4 Daisy training books that deal with Office 2007; a couple of them are specifically about Excel 2007. It just occurred to me to look there! I reckon that Jaws 9 and 10 are not that much different in terms of using Office 2007. Hope this reply sounds a little more helpful than my earlier one :) Cheers, Amro ----- Original Message ----- From: Mark Mansworth To: jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Sunday, October 26, 2008 8:21 AM Subject: [jaws-uk] Re: MS office 2007 Excel Thanks Amro, will have a nose and see what's in there. But I know what you mean about Office 2007; it's a real pain. I bought a copy when I got my machine but ended up giving it away and I'm now very happy with my old copy of Office 2003! I recently purchased MS office 2007 because when I purchase my new PC it didn't have MS Word Or Excel included in the package... I am finding this new Excel a bugger! My older version of Excel was very easy to use with Jaws, mind it did date back to '97. However this updated and new fangaled version I am finding very difficult to work around. What has happened to simply accessing the menus by alt, the menu which pops up is very minimal , I can find more menus using the Jaws cursor but still finding it a mare. I have also tried Alt + H, in the vain hope of finding a Help menu but then faced with some garbage about "Ribbons", what's that all about ?", If anyone knows of any tips or a link to somewhere I can find any useful instructions on using this version of Excel, I would be very grateful.
