That's interesting, Chris, because I'm using Outlook 2003 to write
this.
That said, I've not run Windows Live Mail on it, and don't plan to.
What DLL is it bitching about? Perhaps it can be restored - or
perhaps I could send it to you?

Yes, I can confirm Office 2003 does work under Windows 7 just like it
did in
Vista. The problem with my machine though is that I cannot start
Outlook as
it complains that mapi32.dll is of the wrong version or corrupt. This
is
probably because Windows Live Mail installs a newer version of the DLL
that
Outlook doesn't support. But this could be my machine though so who
knows.
