Hi Brian, I have tried this on jaws 14 and its there on my PC I am using eloquence. If you click on detect language after you have typed language if the search box as I stated in my prior email, you will hear jaws say detect language checked or unchecked which ever you have it set to then cursor down and it should be there. It is actually under text processing and then look in general. Hope this helps. Regards, Ismail. -----Original Message----- From: Brian Lingard Sent: Sunday, November 16, 2014 3:40 PM To: jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [jaws-uk] Languages Ottawa Canada Dear Ismail and List: I went to the JAWS screen, selected utilities then settings centre and entered languages in the search box, pressed enter and cursored down, but found no Generalized Dialect in my JAWS 14. Perhaps this setting is only for some synthesizers?
