Hello

One work around is to insert a comment in each of the cells that you
wish to be able to navigate around and you can then bring up a list
of comments using the JAWS keystroke Control, Shift + ' , followed by
enter.
 Regards
        Guy

Jamie,

If I could label individual headings, and call up and select from a
list, I could quickly navigate to a heading anywhere within a
spreadsheet and not just certain columns or rows.

Dave

Dave,

It certainly makes clearer what you would like to do but I'm afraid that
I don't know if this can be done or not. Are all your columns and rows
regular in layout or do you have merged cells? If they are regular, is
it not just as easy to use keyboard commands such as Control+UP/DOWN
ARROW or
Control+LEFT/RIGHT ARROW or HOME to get to the left column etc?

I tend to just remember the row where my headings are and then use the
"GoTo" command with Control+G to get to the relevant cell but this isn't
what you are looking for.

Sorry I can't help more.

Jamie

Hi Jamie,

I have enabled column and row titles, so they read out when navigating
through the spreadsheet. What I would like to do is label the row
headings and as with web pages where on pressing insert+F6, a list
appears, from which the required heading can be picked, and taken
straight to it, thus vastly speeding up the process.
Hope that makes it clearer.

Cheers

Dave

Dave,

Can you give a little more clarification on what you want to be able to
do here. Do you want to be able to get to the headings or to have the
headings read out when you are moving along a row of data lower down in
the spread sheet?

Jamie

Hi All,

Can anyone help please. I have a spreadsheet with a number of headings
which I would like to find a fast way of navigating to. I thought there
was a way of labelling them and simply select from a list. But I have
been unable to find any tutorial for this. Any advice would be much
appreciated.

Cheers

Dave
