Hi Angela, sorry I forgot to give you the steps. I will do so below.
NOTE I am doing this with Jaws 12 so I hope you have this version. I would
tell you how to do it with Jaws 11 and below but I can't remember at the top
of my head where to go so hopefully if this isn't the right version that I
will describe, then I hope that someone else will come to your rescue!

1. go to the Jaws 12 icon on your desktop hit enter on it depending weather
you have jaws set in the System tray or not you will either have to arrow
left and right this is for the jaws when you haven't checked it in the
system tray but if you have then arrow up or down until you hear jaws say
"Utilities."
2. Go into this Sub menu and arrow down to "settings Center" hit enter on
this.
   3. You should now be in a list of options that you can open with right
arrow tto close them use left arrow.
4. Arrow down to you find "Speach verbosity" open this with right arrow.
5. Note when you have opened this the 1st option is your verbosity it should
be one of the following Beginner, Intermediot or Advance. For nowjust ignore
this and arrow down to the next option.
6. This is the option you want it is called "configure verbosity levels"
note it is closed open this with right arrow.
7. Now you have either Beginner Intermediot and Advance go with the option
in the previous section that is the vervosity level you have already set and
hit enter on it.
8. A dialog box opens and you are in a list of check boxes arrow down to the
last one or just simply press the End key to get you there quicker. It
should be the "tool Tips" Check box check it.
9. Tab till you hear the OK button to exit this dialog box.
10. You should come back to the settings center, tab till you hear the
button apply then tab to ok. And your done!
11. Go to a file any file let jaws read the file name then it will say the
date, artist, album, and eventually hopefully the file size!
I hope this helps you out again.
I hope your well and good luck with it. If you get stuck then just let me
know and I will try to help again or I'm pritty sure someone else on this
list will help you further.
If you don't like it then you can just simply go to it again and uncheck the
check box apply and ok and it will be back to how it was before.
Thanks
Daniel
