Yep, I tried 7.0 and 7.1 and they read properly with the down arrow,
vertically. It stops on the 1, then down 2 3 then down to 4.

Robin - can't explain why it should be so but it appears to be because
your ordered lists are empty - it isn't just this one but infact all
your empty ordered lists where this happens.

I saved a copy of the page and entered some place holder text in to each
list item of an ordered list and that fixed the problem.

Are you saying that the result is different with versions of jfw earlier
than 8? In which case might be worth flagging it with FS to see whether
it is a bug or a feature. The latter isn't completely impossible as
there are a lot of behind the scenes changes to the handling of Web
content in jfw 8. using ie7 complicates things further as there are
many unexpected behaviours thrown up by that particular beast.

Hi,

This is one for the web gurus and designers as well as the jfw techies.

Using jfw 8, xp, IE6, or 7.

Was updating my own site last night and checking navigation on a certain
page and came across a strange senario. You need to test this with jfw
8.

Go to http://www.scottishblindgolf.com/fixtures2007.html and hit the h
key 3 times until you land on the April 30 fixture.

Arrow down to the results, then jaws says, 1,2, 3, 4. as if they're in
a horizontal line, yet they are visually in a vertical list.

Using jfw earlier versions reads this properly by using the down arrow
key

Checking down the page at other fixtures it does the same.=20

I'm sure there will be a technical reason for this, but whether it is a
jaws 8 bug or for some reason my coding skills need revising, well it
would be interesting to know.

Kind regards,
