Apart from the odd quirk with edit fields and forms mode in Internet
Explorer, I have found 7.1 to be ok. IE7 is fine too.

I installed this, in case I do get lumbered with IE7, but I don't like it...
OK, it seems to shut Jaws up quicker using ctrl than 7.0, which could
rabbit away for about a minute, (but then, so would Jaws version3.0)
But, it doesn't find edit fields on the web pages I've tried, without
going past what you know is there and coming back to it, whereupon it
finds it, and it won't read back what I have typed. (I know there has
been a long-standing problem with this sort of thing requiring tthe
occasional bodge, but this seems general.
Tabbing through links seems to find them in a different ordder from 7.0,
maybe more logically, I don't know, but it was better before, for me.
Let's just hope I'm not afflicted by IE7 and can continue with Jaws 7.0
