Hi again Cliff,

It's OK, I've managed to find the IE10 programme folder and I've created a
Task Bar entry that launches it.

Problem solved, thanks.

Jamie

Hi Jamie, I'm not sure if it is still the same but originally with windows 8

you only got the app of internet explorer if you started it from the start
window. If you go to desktop and start it from the task bar then it starts
the full version.
