Hi Jim, It's not a problem as regards JAWS whether you get a 32 bit or 64 bit system. Office 2003 will work on 32 bit Windows 7 Home and above, that I do know from experience. However, you'll really need to take an inventory of what older software you have, and weigh up the cost of upgrading that software for Windows 7, or paying the extra for JAWS Professional and getting Windows 7 Professional. Later in the year, I intend to buy a new computer with Windows seven, so, I want the choice of having 64 bit, however, if I update to Jaws eleven for 64 bit, it will not cover Windows XP, or so I understand. My other concern is that I want to use my old programs, [office 2003, Soundforge 5 etc, with Windows seven and Jaws, the XP mode in Windows seven only covers this in proffessional and ultimate versions, or does it? the Microsoft site has two differing statements on the subject. Anyone have any comments as to which Jaws version, e g bit rate and pro or normal? Thanks for any advice. Best Regards, Jim.
