Hi,

JAWS will work with Java as long as the latest JRE software is installed
along with Java Access Bridge 2.02. Not sure what Eclipse is or Notepad++,
so cannot guarantee that it will work. JAWS is a Windows based screen
reader, and as such will not work in MS DOS other than in a 'command prompt'
environment. Perhaps someone else can provide information on Eclipse and
Notepad++

It may also be worthwhile you downloading the demo version of JAWS (you can
download v12, v13 or v14) and trying the screen reader with the above
software the student would be using to see if it works. Go to Freedom
Scientific website to download http://www.freedomscientific.com

Subject: [jaws-uk] Jaws compatibility with programming type software

Hi,
I work at a university, and have been asked question with the compatibility
of Jaws version 12. A student want to use Jaws with the following
software's: Java, eclipse, notepad ++ and MS DOS.

I was wondering if Jaws is compatible with this, if not are there any
upgrades that might work.

Regards Pritesh.
