Oh come on dont' say that Tiddy.

I mean they have that blasted Kernel security infrastructure (nasty old thing), to deal with.

Course ya gotta charge exorbitant prices for that.

I mean anyone would.

I mean look at it every software application that is required to hook into some very under the hood parts of the Windows OS charges more if your using Pro.

Oh no, wait they don't....

This is a real problem here.

Here we have a lady who's just gotten Jaws has been most likely illinformed by whoever and however and will either have to fork out a fair we bit more cash to run it on her system or downgrade her security protection by dropping to an operating system that isnt' beign supported by Microsoft anymore and hence no patches are being released for like Windows 98.

Hazel I feel for ya, that's a big slap in the face.

Maybe your retailer can help out with a reduced upgrade fee under the circumstances if you explain what's happened?

They're not obligated to do so but you may get lucky.

I'd strongly strongly strongly strongly I cant' say this enough recommend NOT downgrading to windows 98. You will be vunrable to secruity threats that exsist nwo and have the potential for more in the future that if they are flaws int he operating systems structure you are not guaranteed a fix by Microsoft for.

Hi Hazel

You will need the professional version of Jaws to work with XP pro.

Hello the list! Can anyone tell me what operating systems work with the Jaws 6.2 version?

I have exp professional installed on the computer will I have to change the
computer set-up?

I keep getting a message telling me that the Jaws is not authorized with Exp
professional.

What is the best thing to do?

I might have a copy of windows 98 somewhere, would that be better!

Best regards,
Hazel.
