Yes it happens because jaws thinks that its on a new system I think because of the change in the configuration of the computer its happened to me when I added a sound card before and also with the ram being added as well Hugh Megarry skype hugh.megarry -----Original Message----- From: jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Philip Stephenson Sent: Thursday, March 19, 2009 9:21 AM To: jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [jaws-uk] Jaws authorisation following a memory upgrade Hi, A simple query really, I upgraded the internal Ram on my home desktop last night, all went ok, the machine is running a lot faster, however when I came to launch Jaws it came up with the "would you like to authorise" prompt - I haven't fiddled with Jaws at all and before the memory upgrade Jaws was fully authorised etc. Yes I know I can go ahead and re-authorise Jaws (although I think I may have gone over my install counts) but I was just curious if this is an issue others have had? Using Jaws 8 on a Win XP Dell desktop.
