[jaws-uk] Jaws and soundcards

Hi Folks,
I'm looking for a new soundcard to replace the sigmatel on-board sound chip
set that came with my Del machine. I'm not pleased with the performance of
this
on-board device as it would appear to make the machine crash regularly. I
get a frozen system with an error message with lots of gibberish in it with
the only legible text saying that the sigmatel audio stack had something to
do with the crash. Having searched around for an updated driver both on
Del's site and on the web, I haven't come up with a sollution except to
install a new soundcard.
I'm running XPSP2 Home with IE 7 on a Del dual core Pentiam CPU 3.4Ghz
with 1Gb of RAM. Video card is a Radion X600 dual core with 256 Mb of RAM.
