Hi sue,

Exactly the same thing happened when I increased the memory of my desktop PC. As David says, just reactivate Jaws. In my situation I'd run out of activations so had to contact FS who arranged for a new activation (3 to be precise) to be provided.

Its a little annoying that Jaws doesn't seem to be able to know the difference between someone installing Jaws on a completely different PC and a person who is merely adding additional memory to an already existing PC on which Jaws is already installed.

Regards,
Kevin

Sue:

JAWS activation has noticed that you have altered your hardware
configuration, which presumably is stored on the FS database.

Just run with the re-activation.

Hi.

I've got the latest version of Jaws installed on my machine, and I've just
increased my memory by putting in a 1 gig memory chip. The computer has
recognised it but when I start the machine up now, I get the start
activation dialogue box for Jaws when this has already been done. When I
press next, the number is displayed as normal so I'm not sure why it's doing

this. Please could anyone tell me?

Thanks.

Sue.
