Hi again Keith, Try placing your Jaws 8.0 disk in the drive and when asked, reinstall Jaws. If you are given the option, you might want to select repair instead of a full reinstall. If this fails, you may need sighted help to uninstall the video interceptor and then reinstall it. Since having this new computer built, I am experiencing a Video Intercept problem on starting Jaws. Evidently Jaws doesn't like the PCI Express graphics card, which I think is an Asus one. When I press the execute button, the computer reboots. However, instead of going straight into Windows, it halts at a menu which contains such items as Safe Mode, and something like Last Known Configuration - not quite sure about this last one. Anyway, on returning to Windows, the Video Intercept message appears again. I am currently not able to read any text other than HTML, so cannot edit or read any of my Notepad files. This is the first experience I have had with Video Intercept. I will presumably have to change the graphics card, unless someone can suggest a work-around. Is there anywhere listed the graphics cards that Jaws will not work with, please? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Keith No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
