MessageHi Joan, Yes, I think the Dictionary Manager is the answer. You could type "superscript" in the first field and hit the spacebar in the second field. If you look in the special symbols list with Insert 4 on the numbers row you will find superscript symbols towards the end of the list there followed by numbers mentioned by Tiddy. You could try putting one of these symbols in the first field instead if any numeric value is mentioned. I guess you could get in the config manager to try changing it, but if it's only with one or two words, use the Jaws dictionary - insert + D to change the pronunciation. -----Original Message----- From: jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Joan Muir Sent: 29 February 2008 16:14 To: jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [jaws-uk] Jaws Saying Superscript Hi, Folks, I am getting fed up with Jaws squeakily announcing "superscript" every so often. I would like to stop this and wonder if someone could tell me how to do this please. Best wishes, Joan. No virus found in this incoming message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
