Or try repairing if you have system admin privileges.

Go to the jfw setup folder, find the setup file, then press ctrl and c. win
key and r, then paste into the run box. You should read the file path to
the setup file in the command line. Hit the end key, then press space bar
and type the following, /type repair. Then press enter.

This should repair jfw for you.

Hi Jane,

I am using the same version of JFW on my 64-bit system running Windows 7 and
both IE11 and the latest Firefox and pages are running normally, did you and
your student install JFW from DVD or download it from FS website? I
downloaded the earlier version of 15 from the website and the update went in
smoothly, maybe you could try a fresh install from a different source.

Regards,

Pete H.

Subject: [jaws-uk] Jaws 15.0.100026 is not speaking any web pages

I just got a Jaws student for the first time in months and we found that the
latest version of Jaws, updated to the latest version is not speaking any
web pages. It is not recognizing headers, paragraphs and even using the up
and down arrows it is silent except on some pages it says: blank. The F-key
commands still work, but it is not recognizing formfields. I have tested it
on IE 9, 10, and 11 as well as the newest Firefox. It is as if every web
page is blank except for the links.
This is happening on both my Optiplex 710 and my student's XPS 22 both of
which run windows 7 ultimate. I haven't gotten an answer back yet from tech
support. As you can imagine this makes teaching the net a bit difficult.

I hope someone has a solution. Thanks.
