You could try the old trick of checking "allow waves files with software synth" checkbox in "synthesizer options" in the "default.jcf". You will need a restart. Regards. Acer Ferrari Laptop, jfw9, Realtech built in audio system, loads of Ram. On my website at www.scottishblindgolf.com and Tom's www.whitestick.co.uk we've got a short wav file in the head section of our homepage html that plays for a few seconds as you open the site up. On this laptop, these wavs don't play, jaws kicks in fairly quickly and announces the website name and heads off into reading the contents of the page etc as you'd expect. Clicking on wavs mp3's etc around the web, they play no problem, so any ideas why jaws stifles these on our websites? It's like the sound card isn't getting the time to output the wavs and big bully jfw is taking precedence? Not life threatening, but one of those puzzzlers.
