Hi Gary,
Not sure what's going on here, but are you per chance using JAWS 2019? There
was some serious work done under the hood with Office 2016 and above in that
release and they still seem to be ironing out the bugs. Word 2013 and below is
still using the old code. Possibly if you revert to JAWS 2018 the problem will
not manifest itself.
Matthew

Subject: [jaws-uk] JAWS not reading in Text box

Hi all
Just encountered this issue, I was previously using MS Word 2010 but now I have
Word 2016 when trying to read previous documents all is fine until I try to
read within a Text box, when I type in the Text box it echoes the letters but
when I arrow back or forward to check wording it is not reading, I think this
must be something really simple and I am overlooking this, any help appreciated.
Kind regards
Gary
