Oh good. Thanks Tom.

I don't think I have tried an earlier version of JAWS since I upgraded
Windows. Or not much anyway. It would be interesting to find out if an
earlier version worked allright. I think the earliest one that works with
Windows XP is JAWS 5, isn't it?

Hi Diana,

The computer can say what card you've got.

Go into the control panel in my computer. Hit D till you hear display. Open
that and then controlTab till you get to the settings page. It tells you
there.

You can also get the information in the device manager under system on the
hardware page.

Your graphics card could affect jaws, but unless it is not working properly,
it shouldn't.

Have you tried an earlier version of jaws to see if that works?

You could download it from www.freedomscientific.com and run as demo.

Tom
