[jaws-uk] JAWS and soundcards?

Not strictly a JAWS issue, but it sort of is. I'm using a laptop for my music
and want to plug it into my stereo amp. I've been doing this for ages but the
headphone jack on the laptop has now lost some of it's solder meaning the
connection isn't as good and the sound only comes out of one of my speakers.
Please stay with me on this one. I've bought a USB soundcard now so I can plug
the lead into the stereo from it. This means that the on board soundcard on
the laptop will carry JAWS whilst the USB soundcard will have the audio. My
issue though is how to differentiate the 2 feeds. Keeping JAWS and the audio
separate. Any thoughts or ideas would be great. Tata
