Hi Brian,

I've never used PowerPoint 2007 but, if the keystrokes are similar to
earlier versions, try the following:

When on the slide you want:
Press Tab or Shift+Tab to move around the elements on the slide.
When you want to read or edit an item such as a bulleted list or plain
textual item, press Enter to go into that item and then use normal editing
keys to set it the way you want.
Press Escape to come out of the editing mode and return to the higher level
of navigation.

If you are meaning reading a finished item on a slide, the other way to read
the information is to run the slide show with F5 and press Spacebar until
you get to the slide in question. You should then be able to use Up and
Down arrows to read through the text on a particular slide.

This may, of course, be a load of tripe in PowerPoint 2007 but give it a try
anyway.

Jamie

Hi,

My knowledge of powerpoint 2007 is very flaky, to say the least.

I'm trying to read the body place holder of a ppt slide. Any idea of the
keystroke needed to do this?

Brian.
