When you find a link that doesn't open, try holding down the
Control key while clicking on the link.

Subject: [jaws-uk] JAWS and a problem with IE

Hi everyone,
Asking on behalf of my brother please. This problem happens
on both his laptop and desktop using JFW 7 and it used to
happen with V6 too. On some websites, when he clicks on a
link which opens in a new page he gets a clicking sound but
without actually that link responding. I doubt it that it is
the Pop-up blocker getting in the way cause turning it off
or using the exemptions feature doesn't sort out the
problem. The only way we found to get round the problem was
to click the link after quitting JAWS. Please remember that
the problem doesn't occur on all websites with that kind of
links but a recent example was on the Products' page of the
Human Ware website when he tried to open a link which says
"More information about Maestro".

We are both puzzled so any assistant will be most welcomed.
