Dear Dorothy and list:
With regard to what version of JAWS you need to work with VISTA,
it works like this:
JAWS for Windows version 9 Standard edition works with any
version of VISTA with the word HOME in it. That is, VISTA Home
Basic or Premium editions.
JAWS 9 Professional is required for all other versions of VISTA
such as Business or Ultimate.
Friend just bought a little Dell XPS 1330 with VISTA Ultimate,
enough RAM to sink a large fleet of battleships and a hard disk
that is huge by laptop standards. She is due to receive it by
the middle of next week.
