Hi all,
I received a letter offering me a new SMA but, as it was Christmas, I
decided that I would wait a week or two. When I phoned up to place my
order, I was told that the price quoted had been at a special discount and
that I'd missed the deadline. This is one of many things which makes me
incline towards dumping Jaws altogether. People using other programs don't
seem to have to put up with this endless stream of expensive half-finished
updates.

Don't pay to much attention to being told by letter that a renewal is due. I
certainly didn't receive any such letter, either by post or e-mail the last
time my SMA ran out. I waited before contacting S&S because I new they
operated this letter system to let us know that the time had come around to
think about stumping up a few more quid for JAWS, but I still had to pay top
dollar, even though the failure was at their end.
