| It sounds like the SAPI 5 speech engines are broken, you can try
| downloading and installing the speech SDK from Microsoft, it has been
| known to fix a problem like this but may not do in every case:

| I wanted to use one of the RealSpeak voices to listen to a large chunk

| text this evening, but whenever I go to the Say All option in the
| Configuration Manager, JAWS simply goes silent!

| I bring up the options, arrow down to Say All, and immediately I enter
| on
| the option JAWS goes silent. The only way I get the speech back is to
| "alt
| F4" out of there!

| The same thing happens when I try to access RealSpeak with the "insert
| control s" keystroke. When I arrow down and enter on the SAPPI 5 option,

| JAWS mutes until I exit with "alt F4".
