Your Dongle should work if you have bought version 16 last year, in
addition to (SMA), which makes you entitled to upgrade to the next
consecutive versions for no additional cost but, the best way to solve
this is through your local dealer.

I use a JAWS dongle v. 16.0.4. on my Windows 7 laptop. I have just
bought a new laptop (win 10) for work purposes and wish to install JAWS
on it. I went on to Freedom Scientific and downloaded the 64 bit
programme from there. This is v. 17 and is the 40 minute mode. I
expected that when I inserted the dongle the laptop would recognise it
but it hasn't. I went to Dongle Viewer and it does say that it is there
but for v. 16. Does anyone know how I can get the dongle to work with v.
17? I have tried to update the authorisation and refresh it but to no
avail.
