George,

What happens if you put "CCC" into the JAWS Dictionary and have it pronounced
as "c c c" or even "see see see"?

Regards.

Ian

Subject: [jaws-uk] JAWS 9 and PDF Reading

Can anyone suggest a quick cure for the following when reading PDFs?

The acronym CCC for the relevant County Council is being read as "three
hundred" - obviously making the assumption that it stands for Roman Numbers.

Paragraph numbering like 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 are being read as "First January",
"First February", "First March".

I sure hope there's a quick way to turn this off.

  George.
