JAWS 4.0 will not work with XP of any flavour.
The need to have a JAWS that would work under XP was the primary reason for
the release of version 4.01, which did work with XP and was in fact the
first version of JAWS that did.
However, it was a poor release and was replaced, thankfully by 4.02 a few
short weeks later.
