Hi Phil.

All I would say here is that given the fact that JAWS 11 is the first
version of JAWS to come out after version 7 was released you may want to
do some financial reprioritisation or whatever and consider the upgrade
if you are going to go down the Windows 7 route.

I would say this for any screenreader. If the version of the
screenreader works well with windows 7 that's great but if you are
thinking of taking trouble to upgrade then you can not expect any
screenreader vendor to give decent support for operating systems brought
out after that version release.

If you cannot afford the upgrade I would probably suggest staying with
your existing version of JAWS and Windows to be on the safe side.

Regards

Graham

Hi,

I too would like to know how people are getting on using Windows 7 with
Jaws 10 - I have an Acer laptop currently running Vista home but am
considering upgrade but not if I don't get Jaws functionality - and no I
can't afford to upgrade to Jaws 11.

Cheers,

Phil
