[jaws-uk] Item Number

Hi List.
I've not checked the item number option in my verbosity options, but JAWS 7
still tells me 1 of 6, 2 of 6, three of 6, etc etc as I arrow up and down
through a list of e-mails.
I understood from the "Help" information in Verbosity Settings that this is
the item that needed to be unchecked for this information not to be given.
It doesn't appear to be working for me!
I'm really losing my patience with OE6 and JAWS at this moment in time. The
last week has been hellish! Anyway, can someone please tell me what I need
to do to stop the constant item numbering situation? Oh, and I have unloaded
JAWS after changes, but it hasn't made any difference.
