Hi Jim,
To run Internet Explorer 7 you will need to update your Jaws to 7.1 which
is, of course, free as you have already got Jaws 7..
As far as the Combo box problem is concerned you may need to bring up forms
mode as well as doing an Alt cursor down to open the list.

I have the following programmes installed on my computer:-
Jaws Version 7
Windows XP Home Edition
Internet Explorer Version 7
MacAfee Security
Outlook Express Version 6
I am having the following problems
1. Although my computer boots up and according to the screen and my
sighted friend, the computer is ready to use within a minute but it is often
5 to 10 minutes before JAwS begins to tell me the computer is ready to use.
2. When selecting information from a combo box, such as month and year
options, I can open the combo box but JAWS does not read the options which
can be selected.
3. When reading documents, at times JAWS appears to read words at random
from elsewhere on the page.
I would be grateful if someone had found a solution to these problems.
