Hi Martin,

As I said in a previous message to this list, there are one or two issues regarding IE 7, why not change your opening page to Google, or something else of your choice rather than a blank page, this might just do the trick!

Best wishes,

Mike Pannell

Subject: [jaws-uk] Internet Explorer 7 question

OK folks, I've had no-one come back to me as to whether this is an ie7 issue or whether I have one or more settings that I need to change. Rather a dissappointing response as I am sure there are many ie7 users out there. I ask myself is it worth being a member of the list.

Martin

Hi folks

I have recently updated to IE7 and am experiencing that when launching it (I use a blank page as my home page) I then select one of my favorites which takes longer to launch than it did in IE6, I then have to tab a number of times before I can get to the site page. The tabs speek out as follows:
Jaws speeks 2% 100% and then no output
I tab and get, toolbar - and then the description of the button I am on.
Tab again to - live search edit
tab again to - toolbar, search <alt+ enter to search in a new window>
Tab again to get to the page I wanted.

This only happens when I select my first favorite from launching IE7, subsequent selections of other favorites takes me directly to the page. Can anyone tell me if i am missing a setting option somewhere or is this how IE7 works for everyone.

Thanks
Martin
