Hi George.
What about trying to start the installshield manually by having them press,
windows key R to go into run.
Then typing
x:\setup.exe
X of course being their cd-rom drive.
Does this start the installshield or the Jaws Start applet? Dj Paddy

I have a client who has had to reformat their hard drive after a serious virus infection. It's a Windows 98SE system.
When they put in their JAWS 4.5 CD, they get the usual musical JAWS jingle and installation message, which ends with telling you to press the Enter key to continue.
They press the Enter key, and it simply replays the installation message again, telling you to press the Enter key to continue. They simply cannot get past this stage.
Has anyone any suggestions?
George.
