It's an excellent format and can be sonically better than MP3 in addition to the ethical/commercial advantages of being patent/royalty free. As for whether it's compatible with Jaws, I'm nt a jaws user but I guess it boils down to a) will Jaws play it (if it plays audio files) or b) whether the player you use interferes with Jaws (unlikely as plugins are availble for many media players that also play MP3s). Hopefully others can give a view based on experience? You can get a list of players and find out more at http://www.vorbis.com/ Enjoy Steve Lee > Many thanks, > > Kevin > ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- > ** [mailto:jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] > ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: > ** jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > ** and in the Subject line type > ** unsubscribe > ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the > ** immediately-following link:- > ** [mailto:jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] > ** or send a message, to > ** jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq > > -- Steve Lee Open Source Assistive Technology Software and Accessibility fullmeasure.co.uk ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
